Hard top respray - Auckland
Anyone know anyone who is any good at respray work in Auckland, looking for a good quote to repaint the hardtop, either gloss black or Matt black look. Some of the panel beaters want in excess of a $1000 which seams very steep indeed.

I can vouch for Cole. They painted mine gloss black to match the sill around my windscreen a couple years ago and it turned out awesome. Not sure what they'd charge these days though but it involved sanding back the rough paint job the previous owner did with a brush which was flaking and streaky.
Eventually I'll get the entire car redone. Just not any time soon....

Carbon Wrap
Think I'm going to go down the carbon wrap route, can get a film for $115 and looks easy to apply. And if I come to sell it, can be just peeled off and removed.
Any one tried?

carbon wrap
I did my hard top in matt black . the rear curves take alot of working and alot of heat to shrink it ,mine came out really well. if you are going to use carbon do not use 3M DI-NOC as it will not go around the curves you need 1080 .
