NA Seats
The seats in my Brothers 93 NA8C are shot, so I had the bright idea of taking the seats out of my 90 NA6C and put them in his car, since mine are in pretty good nick, and I am putting the race seats in mine.
Well my bright idea turned out to be an epic fail, as the seats are different. They look the same, but the seatbelt clip (or buckle or whatever is the technical term for it) anchor point on my car is on the floor of mine, and on his car it is on a brace that is part of the seat frame.
Is this because his car is a jap import and mine is a NZ new, or because his is an 8C.
And yes, I could have taken my seatbelt clip frame out of my car and put it in his, but I had the intention of leaving my normal seatbelt in my car, as I didn't want to had the hassle of putting on a 5 point harness everytime I just wanted to take the car for a drive on the road.
So, if I am looking for seats for his car, am I looking for 8C seats or ones from a Jap import, or both?

The anchor is in the seat, not the slider.sprsta wrote:can you not swap the sliding mechanisms over between the seat bases?
The early NAs had the stalk mounted to the floor/tunnel. Not sure if the later ones still had the anchor in the floor as well though.
