Mildew/Mold On Softtop

Hey All,

Just joined up here as I've picked up a 91 NA6CE MX-5 with a softtop and after much googling around I'm a little stumped.

The inside of the Softtop fabric has a bit of a mold/mildew issue and I'm trying to find the best way to clean it up, I've read a few places that say Backing Soda over night and Shower cleaner in the morning but I've also read that using anything bleach like is a big no-no.

Does anyone out there have any preferred method for removing mildew/mold and recommendations for a product to use on the outside of the softtop to keep it healthy?
