Rear Tower Brace

I have bought one of these from MX5Mart for my NA. I have to remove all the plastic trim around the seatbelt towers to install the brace. However it also seems that I have to remove one of the mounting points for the roof which looks very difficult! Any hints or suggestions would be welcome.
