Where can i buy a waterproof car cover
Any suggestions please for my partners 1990 mx5 being waterproof is the main requirement

BTW.. The cheapo ones on trade me aren't waterproof...despite claims otherwise :p

One thing to watch out for, even with the most waterproof expensive ones is they're not usually designed for long term use in wet weather - they need to be removed so the car and cover can air/dry after they've been in the rain. Otherwise you'll just be trapping water/moisture under them
The temporary garage / car tent things are a better option imo ifyou have the room. (and they're a bit more expensive too)

Be careful about cheap covers, quality ones should have a soft inner or some type of felt to avoid rubbing straight on the paint
Pvc is water proof but doesn't breathe so you will get condensation build up and will end up dripping into the car, canvas breathes and that's what I would recommend (especially if you're parking the car over grass or dirt)
