Cheers for invite but I am off to a wedding on that day.... It was a great turnout last time so I will be gutted to miss this daytime run. Remind the Facebook crew of the Winter Wine Deez on 22 June please. More details to be posted this week.

Damn I would definately be keen but I've got work on Saturdays :(
Are there any track days coming up?

Jesse Pinkman confirmed for best username of 2014.

Does this have an end date? Mayn't be able to participate in some of the fun bits later.

Haha thanks 4-age.

Thanks Donovan I just checked it out on their website, sounds fun!

Another question do you need a roll bar for track days even if you have a hardtop? And where can I get them from? I've had a look online and I like the look of the HardDog type bars but you can really only get them from America or England? Does anyone import them over here?

You will need a roll bar for Hampton.

Other tracks may turn a blind eye.

It's not advisable to risk it and track the car without one.

Options really are to get them made here or import a Hard Dog or Blackbird FabWorx bar yourself. Here's a short list of some shops in Auckland I know have done MX5s before. (There may be more but I don't know them):

TTT Auto Engineering
DKM Fabrications
Chubb Racing
Fraser Cars

Other ones that I haven't talked with/don't know if they've done MX5s before but do rollcages etc are:
LynchBuilt
International Motorsport

Get a "Donbar" from Autoways in Hamilton (http://www.autowayservices.co.nz), that is most likely the cheapest and simplest to get in there quickly, there is even a forum piece on how to install it (viewtopic.php?t=9290&highlight=donbar)

May be half an hour or so late - Exam finishes at 12:20 but I might be out early. Don't know until I'm out unfortunately.

If you look really closely, you can see the other 15 cars.

Had to stop to let someone's car cool down.

It wasn't me, I only cooked my brakes.

I was our designated back marker. Enjoy that last stretch of Ridge Rd on the way back to Albany?

Oh the wet bit? Shit man, on thin ice there with fuck all brakes. Neat fun though. Painting wheels and getting tyres asap.

Was a quite small turn out this time but it was a busy weekend for events over all (drift days, scarles opening and its middle of exams for uni kids) probably won't me too many more now till winter calms down again but we shall see!
