Sorry Siren but did not see your post till we got to Kopu...... MrGrey and I took a detour on way home and got some ideas for another run in the near future. Will most likely start at Bombay again and drive around more deserted back roads in the upper reaches of Waikato district.
Will probably call it the first of the Winter Windy's. Hope more of you can make it.

GRUVBB,

Thank you very much for the exceptionally well organised cruise & also cheers very much to all the attendees, a seriouslly great bunch of enthusiastic MX5 drivers all with unbelievably clean & tidy cars - it was definitely another fantastic MX5 'day in the sun' - everyone (well everyone in MX5's anyway) being exceptionally well behaved, of course, this is normal behaviour for MX5 Forum members :D

DVP

PS: Emmz of Waihi left her card in Bluey, if anyone wants it that can have it, pretty sure she wouldn't mind just remember why she was in Paeroa & take a big bag of McD's... pretty certain you'd 'be in' :P

PPS: GRUVBB you might want to check your speedo accuracy, we were travelling at 95kph according to GPS based speed data.

 .... You may have been but I was stuck behind that Big F250 and flooring it to catch you. If I was doing 95 I dont think the police lights would have been turned on. Luckily I saw them go on and instantly slowed down..... Maybe my being aware of my surroundings on the road assisted in a courteous warning. I will check my speedo some time though, Cheers.

Once again BIG UPS to all who attended. As Harlan has said a great day and great company. Lookin forward to the next event. 8)

Things are dire where I am. My standards are almost non-existent now
