Mmmm sexy wheels indeed!!!

Got my first seat in today, passenger side. I think slightly lower seat height, but higher back. Also it can't go as far back as standard seat due to rubbing against rear quarter trim panel (around the seatbelt tower). Thinking of chopping that out if its annoying.

Took about 1 1/2 hours for the first one just because it wasn't as straight forward as I thought. I sat and had a pint or two of scrumpy and got the grinder out. Fitted sweet after that ;) So basic mods needed are moving some holes bit of grinding (to make the existing trim fit again and look pretty) and a bit of time to swap the seat pans.

Half way through the drivers side and the rain came :( ah well.... time to annoy the neighbours with a bit of guitar anyway.

Pics to follow, before and after.

Spent far too much time trying to work out why my high beams have stopped working five days before the wof is due. grumble grumble..... looks like my passenger light has damaged the colomn switch.
so i bought some H4 semi sealed units and they dont bloody fit properly. (dont buy dengi lamps).
now im trying to get the steering wheel off so i can strip down the switch. hopefully its saveable.

fixed my headlights and switch...now sporting H4 lamps although i wouldnt recommend these ones to anyone...$70 a pair including lamps and they look every bit as cheap as the cost, i suspect that they will fill with water when driving in the rain..

also shot down to the workshop and got just one rear stay pad cut and mounted for the roll bar... played with our new plasma cutter. :P

tidied up some wiring under the dash and for some reason the hot start issues i was having have dissappeared. i can now start it anytime by just flicking the key around without even touching the throttle...happy times!

Gutted 8 kg out of my passenger door, tidied up the dash loom, ordered many bushings.

Now just killing time before I can do anything more >.<

It's been repainted once upon a time in its life, looks like it's been painted straight over the black stone guard.

There are some cars that come out of the factory with the sills painted though, mine isn't one of 'em!

Put new oem engine mounts in one of my cars. The car had a shake when it took off and the new mounts stopped it. The old mounts lookd ok but must have been past there best.

Wasnt too hard of a job, but there were a couple of tricks to it

These were for my wifes mx5 so just standard ones. When i do mine the supercharger will need to come off so wil do radiator, hoses and mounts at the same time and use mazdaspeed ones.
