where can i get a cheap crankshaft sensor fr my 1991 mx5 roadster
My car wont start i was told it was the igniton module i got a different one and still doesnt start now ive been told its the crank shaft sensor . My cat swings strongs but is not catching

try new plugs and swap your leads. my car one day wouldnt start and i spent 2 days trying to trace the fault....turned out ONE of the plugs had crapped out and it was only a year old...caused all sorts of issues with the ignition.

Diagnose the problem before throwing parts at it.

Unlike the US cars, the Japanese and perhaps other markets didn't have a check engine light, so if there is a sensor issue and the ECU has a code, you won't know.

You can hook up an LED in the diagnostic connector to function as a check engine light, this article hes details:
