http://www.garagestar.com/ I've bought a few things from Ken at Garage Star and I can definitely vouch for him.
Great communication and the product usually arrives within a week.
He always throws in a few stickers too if you're into chucking them on your car.

some questions should never be asked, but.....
alternatively,
alternatively,
holy sock in the jocks batman! I have derailed this thread?"The phrase "blowing smoke", meaning to deceive and/or distract, has been around for years. The "up ones ass" part is a fairly new addition. The origin of the "blowing smoke" part is from stage magic, where magicians use smoke to hide their actions or to distract the audience. So if your actions were meant to distract or deceive, you were said to be blowing smoke. Of course, anyone who studies American slang knows that pretty much any phrase can be improved by adding a reference to someones ass, so I suppose it's inevitable the that is where the smoke would eventually be blown."

update re: Carbon miata
fingers crossed.
-=edit=- its always interesting looking at tracking info.
for example, it made me wonder where the hell yonganluyingyebu is and what its like there (its in china and looks kinda crap)
from looking at the tracking, it left the Beijing sorting center on the 7th so if I am lucky they may arrive in time for next saturdaySorry yes I forgot to send you the tracking number! All my answers were honest Steve. The only thing is that it’s the Chinese new year from 9 th to 20 th but Chinese workers leave earlier and also come back later to have time to see their families in the far provinces where they come from etc…
So I could only send your cargo when the guys started to work again.
fingers crossed.

Thats a typical UPS scan as they do a preclearance first and then the goods leave the country of origin...i ordered some mags from the states and it looked like that and thought wow that was quick to get here but they hadnt even left and they ended up going to australia before they got here..avoid using UPS if you can.

It was off a site called http://shop.jassperformance.com/, dealt with a friendly guy called Vlad. He was able to answer all the technical questions and sent a set of instructions for my particular product.
Don't be put off by the OE that my package took , they still arrived in about a week and there was good communication throughout the process.

Hey MrGrey!MrGrey wrote:its all about "waiting for the courier guy"
I assume Marc is just the public face of administration for them.
I assume you are S.T!
I just want to say that yes it took some time to ship your items and I apologize for this! The chinese New Year in China is a big mess!!! All the workers have to go back to their hometown thousands of kilometers away from where they work and all at the same time. Then they have to come back!
I am always honest in my answers. I never lie or say things that people want to hear. I honestly had to wait for the guys to work again to be able to ship your items.
Anyway, I understand the frustration. If I am buying something on internet, I expect the products to arrive quickly and I am really sorry for the delay.
About CarbonMiata, it is only relying on one person: me! It happened that I bought a Miata and wanted some carbon fiber parts for it. I knew this workshop making quality CF parts so I thought: why not offer something new to the community!
Long story short, I do this business for 9 months now and I appreciate any feedbacks on my parts and the way I take care of my business, good or bad!
Let me know if you have any problems by PM or by email marc@carbonmiata.com
Let me know when you get the parts!

hello CM =)
Thank you for the feedback, its all totally understandable now that I know a little more about the Chinese newyears and the timeframe it occupies.
if it would help allow me to give you some customer feedback.
Your communication is excellent, one of the best I have dealt with sofar. It is really nice to be able to send an email and know that you will get a reply.
It makes you feel like you are being treated like a person rather than 'customer 45278'.
The quality of the shaping of the hardtop spoiler was excellent and the fit was very good. The only criticism I have was due to the variable bleedout time for fibreglass parts. It takes a while for all the chemicals to release from the parts (and it varies from piece to piece) and if the part is painted before its completely drained then you can get bubbling and blemishes in the paintjob. Please bear in mind that this is simply the nature of fibreglass and I was prepared for it and didn't mind giving it a repaint.
all in all I am very happy and hope my goodies arrive in time, keep up the good work and thank you for taking the time to keep in contact.

Bought some 1.8l brake pad retainers (for the 1.6 o 2.8 brake upgrade). They confirmed they were the right product, confirmed the bolts and condition and I bought them for 130 usd shipped. They turned up yesterday, 8 days after me making payment. EXTREMELY happy with their service. Will buy again from them without a doubt. Update to come about brakes
