Does anyone have experience on this?
noisy, badly made and made little difference. in fact when i junked it and went back to the standard one - the change was hugely better.
can not recommend at all.

I can highly recommend this one

Easily the best one in the market

Re: Short shifters on TM
I have smiler one, could be the same one. it is decent only if you replace some part with genuine Mazda bits. I agree MiataRoadster's one looks more solid build.danch02 wrote:http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =568272155

If you do try this one, use bushing from your original shifter or get from Mazda. It makes a big difference. The plastic bush that goes to the bottom small ball was real junk that came with this shifter.
If I remember correctly... about the little tab on the extend ring (whcih guide the shifter). The original was positioned in front but I had to make it the back side to properly install the while thing.
Just flip the ring and test fit, you will see what I mean when you get one.
BTW, if you are using it in track or racing, I would say go MiataRoadster.
If it's a daily and only on public road, that could be OK.
