Window Washer Hoses & Clip Things

Post by Angreal » Thu Feb 28, 2013 10:26 am

Where can I find some window washer hoses and black clip things that the hoses connect into? I've managed to destroy mine and need more to connect them back up to my washer bottle

I recently replaced the tube on mine, just got it from Bunnings, the garden section I think... Anyway it was cheap.

There are whole new washer jets on TM for like $12, personally I need a 4mm Y hose connector for mine, not sure where to get that from though as I can only find T connectors - probably a wrecker or eBay and wait a week for it to turn up...
I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Ha! Yeah that what mine did! Suddenly I had no water going to the driverside jet.

Well the ones on Fleabay are $11 shipped (from aus) I'll PM Ross and see what his are.
Rob you want one as well I assume?

I work at a Bunnings (Yardsman) and can verify that yes we have suitable fittings. They are actually garden irrigation fittings but they are the same size and cheap.

I got 2m (only needed 1.5) of hose from Bunnings for $1.58 -unfortunatly the branch i used didn't have any Y connectors-
Ended up getting one from Repco for $10.
-Ross has em for $7 posted but i couldn't be bothered waiting.

Cleaned & realigned the jets while i was at it, oooh the power!

Right....
Available from Mazda and us(We are putting a couple into stock),$17.00+gst plus delivery.

Not cheap, for a bit of plastic.

Get them from the States for about $5.00usd.

We are looking to see if we can find a cheaper alternative from Taiwan,
will take a bit of time to find and arrange, would be sent with next shipment we have come over ,IF they make a alternative.

The trick with genuine factory ones is they do clip to the underside of the bonnet,so as to not move around,If that bothers you or not.

A stupid bit of plastic that everyone will need to replace eventually.
Here to help with any needs for your beloved MX5/Roadster.

Have a look at the "Nice Products" catalogues here.

http://niceproducts.com.au/catalogues/w ... shpump.php

Davie Holden in Manukau are the agents and generally have good stocks. Their prices weren't too horrendous either.
