Determining manufacture date and Special Edition # from VIN?

Is it possible from Japanese VINs? Google only told me how to decipher American VINs, since they're much longer and have different letters/numbers.

The few sites that sort of covered Japanese VINs barely helped, and left out nearly all the different models of early Roadsters.

Mine is NA6CE-159110 which I think is a V-Special.

I want to make sure it actually is, before I go telling it to everyone. And if it is, it would be nice to know the edition number and possibly date of manufacture.

Just check with your local Mazda dealer and ask nicely for the build sheet spec's
