Just out of interest, following the train of thought for setting up a light as an overboost warning, could you do the same for say oil temp? Set it up so that if oil temp goes over a certain amount it triggers a light to let you know?

I did get berated for looking at running a boost gauge in my car, but if I can run standard (i.e no gauges) in my turbo, and not have to worry about a single thing thats what I'll aim for.

Car will be tracked a few times a year too so probably more for those times I can say "oh shit, somethings not right" before blowing something up or melting it.

Easy enough to do with an op amp if you're into soldering little things together, or you could buy one like this

I was concerned about my flatulence so I purchased a device to stop me having too much PSI in my butt :)

New extractors.....which don't freaking fit! Can anyone tell me what the standard distance is between the 2 bolts that hold the headers and mid-pipe together?
Ex: 1991 BRG NA6, 1998 White RS, 1997 Wine Merlot M Edition

Are those the maxim works headers that were on trademe a few weeks back for $200? very nice score if so, don't think the seller knew what they were or what they were worth!

Oh yeah - a civic radiator, and a Koyo Mx5 radiator.

Running the Koyo until after the track day.

Removed alarm, still have some grounding issues which should be sorted tonight.

Figured you must be sick of removing shit by now.

And now that someone's taking your money.. hopefully your progress will slow. And with that... my envy that you are actually making progress (knowing full well that removing shit costs nothing).

Just repaired, and painted the finish panel, hoping to have a decent mold for some Fibreglass/Carbon Fibre ones :)

Can you recommend any wheel polish brands?

Might try mount some tyres on them at some point and do a test fit.

I would follow SLYDIT's advice and use 1200 then 2000 wet n dry first to remove the scale and oxidization and then use some of this (cost $10 from bunnings and does as good of a job as metal polishers like brasso which are 3-4x the price) to make it easier to find the container is 70mm across and 60mm deep

Gold ones are Work Equip 03 in 14x6 +12 offset
Silver/black ones are Hayashi Street's in 14x6 +20 offset.

Couldnt find any in 4x100 so these are both 4x114.3 and i have bought 25mm adapters for them.

Might have to get some autosol tomorrow and start on the hayashis.
Hand mounted a tyre to one of the equips so will chuck it on tomorrow for a test fit
