Night Speed Drag Wars Round One 2nd November

Had a spare 5 minutes, and thought out of curiosity I would have a look at some of the results of the event just to see how I went, as I have been contemplating maybe doing it again if I can find a set of 15 or 16" wheels for the back that I can put tyres on with more of a sidewall that I can try and get a bit more grip off the line with (maybe).

Anyway, noticed that with my times, my terminal speed was 181kph, where as the others doing the same times were about the 160kph mark. I guess this means I am losing a lot of time wheelspining and then she's away once grip is finally returned.

the cars that are crossing the line with about the same terminal speed are running around the 12.5 mark, so do I assume that if I can get grip off the line, that the wee beastie should be able to run that pace?

If I did run in another one, can I get away with being in the NA all motor class, can't see anything about only have to be a 4pot, and I am sure there was a Ford Courier ute in that class running a V8. Does anyone know?
