I was trawling trademe and I came across this car and the canards caught my eye....
does anyone know what make of canards they are? all the others I have seen are sharply angular....
*sorry if this is the wrong place for this, but it was a trademe find and I didn't feel it was worthy of starting a new post

To point something out, I wouldn't bother. Those canards look home made and are a horrible design. There is nothing stopping the air hitting them and becoming turbulent down the side of the car as it will flow over the side. Epic drag creation batman! You want small lips on the outsides to channel the air over the front guards or at least past the wheel wells. Also useless if the air can run under them and then get under the car creating lift.MrGrey wrote:I was trawling trademe and I came across this car and the canards caught my eye....

My opinion, make some from alloy/ABS plastic.
These are a relatively good design

I understand and totally see where you are coming from, but (just being honest) my car is auto and I don't ever plan on doing any racing in it, so for me its purely cosmetic.Snapfrozen wrote:To point something out, I wouldn't bother.
