That thing is awesome! Judging by the licence plate styling I think its from NZ.
Today i removed all the small coolant hoses from the engine bay. Took me about an hour to get all them out because of the stupidly designed hose clamps and the lack of access to them.
Went down to the local Repco to get some replacements but they only stock radiator hoses so i got some anyway as well as some better designed hose clamps.
Then went to Mazda and put an order in for some replacement smaller hoses which should be here tomorrow
Fingers crossed this sorts my coolant leak

Cheers guys. Yeah tan on tan on tan was a bit boring, and it seemed quite dated. And the fact that it matched our old 1982 Datsun Ute's interior didn't help the illusion.
If the 'crash pads' are the strips at the top of the doors then I'm still considering swapping those out too, but for now I'm happy with where its at.

I was concerned about the lack of pretend air coming into my wheel arches, so I put on some pretend vents that have fixed my pretend overheating problem. (they were a gift and I figured I would try em' to see if I liked the look)

Don't worry, I know what you are thinking, so allow me to save you the effort of tracking down an appropriate image and posting it.

for the moment they are still there, I'll give them a week and see if I like the look/get used to the look or if I rip them off in a fit of rage. I will give it one thing and that is for all its fakery, it does help a little towards making the car a little less jellybean'ish.
but yeah, fake vents make my car all WDM style (WDM is like JDM but stands for 'wallmart domestic market') ...... its very popular in the trailer trash tuning scene apparently

I saw this today! Westgate carpark, I was the blue MX5 that took off before you could get closer and see how crap mine looks next to yours. Looks awesome, the headlight covers make it stand outCordedBowl wrote:

On another note, drivers door won't unlock with my remote. Took the door panel off, it unlocks with the key.
Seems the actuator has given up the ghost. Any idea on where to get one anyone?
