Hi Mark, it's Ian by the way.thanks and yes it will be a fun project. Any of your mates here wanting an engine and gear box I will be switching mine out for a newer one so will be up on TM next week. :roll:

It had done 220,000 approx. Drove fine, plenty of power.

This is Exocet no 5. Built by Steve and his son at Eastern Beach.
I supplied the 1995 donor car.
Weighs 600 kg with suitable performance.
Its just waiting on its compliance plate and will then be seen on the roads of Auckland.

Its a cool idea, I just can't get past the styling however. I prefer the Lotus 7 body styling.

As for comparing to the lotus they are quite a different beast, also about half to cost to build.
