Just picked up a nopro washer bottle

So why extender? I like the distance it takes at the moment. Not super short nor is it super long like my previous car

Let me know how you get on with fitting the washer bottle, my factory one got removed with the engine conversion, I am waiting on Winger's to get back to me with NZ pricing on a Capaccino washer bottle, but will need to do something at some stage.

Will do. I'll make an effort to put it in on Saturday night then. The only thing that has stumped me when I briefly looked under the bonnet was how to remove that plastic cover thing on the passenger side that acts as a drain for rainwater.

Are you in AKL? wouldn't mind having a look when it is in at some stage if it's convenient

Sorry, I'm the younger one of the oldies, so my memory is pretty shot, the Red MX5 with the James Bond number plate?

Don't hold your breath. I made an parts enquiry on Winger's web site months ago and am still waiting for an acknowledgement let alone a meaningful response. I gave up waiting and bought a Nopro kit in from Japan however a change of plans now means it has gone to a good home with Angreal.
I bought mine from these guys,
http://www.japanparts.com/. Worked out at about $160 landed.

Ah that'd be cheaper than the ones I found up on the Aus forums

Same kit but that price is about NZD160 before freight.

Hah I did the same with my day off, went down to Coromandel for a drive. I must have more sun resistance, only slightly burnt and getting fairly browned up.

I sometimes get burnt while driving with the top on, my sun resistance is awful.
On a lighter note i got pretty good fuel consumption (8.2l/100) even though i was giving it the beans every now and again.

Yooooo
I got the extender because it moves it closer to the wheel - less time off the wheel

But the extension means you can basically throw it into a gear, it's awesome

we should compare shifters mine is probably just abit closer to the steering wheel just cause its angled but im curious to the feel of yours because its extending just the lever without changing the fulcrum at the bottom of the shifter
