Dude get on your bike and head to pick a part Mangare. There's an MX5 there with apparently a LOT of stuff still on it. I've also got some tan interior bits which are free to a good home so PM me what you're after and I'll see if I have it.

Reminds me of my car atm but that's because I've been too lazy to retrofit the NB doors in and too lazy to read some wiring diagrams

also - here is my recently acquired Eunos Roadster:

started out like this:

then we gave it a wash and removed the hideous luggage rack (for sale if anyone is keen)

The rear window has been ripped so it leaks like a sieve, so i covered it like this temporarily as there was a storm on its way, and it was the only thing i had going at the time - a tarp and some bungy cords....

it made the paint look like this:

it's also got a bit of rust in, what i'm told, is a common place in these cars. So hopefully i'll get a hand from my oldman in putting some new metal in there!

sorry for the photo dump - hope nobody is on 56k!

o you mean the car i considerably raided for many many parts? :P instrument clustor cover, boot carpet, spare wheel bracket, drivers door, indicator wiring, number plate light wiring, chrome sill plates, center console lid, ash tray, coin pocket, passenger door weather strip, numerous nuts and bolts and such.. and thats just what i remember!

I have complete black interior with NB carpet and mazdaspeed seats now, im good but thanks for the offer ;) could do with some better door trims and thats about it!

I raided the last MX5 too :P got the roll bar, strut brace and jasma headers off it among others 8)

I've been busy too! Started making the two tone tan/black interior I wanted, just the dash to go now...

Image

Also installed my roll bar over the last couple of nights and put the stickers I've been saving for it on tonight.

Image

All I have to do now is get the car going and see how long it lasts in the condition the engine is in while I build a new one.

I only put that bar in last night! So wont have been me you've seen around. I do have the black bits but one has been slightly hacked up. They were given to me by last_resort14 and they're surplus to requirements so if you want them, you can have them.

I've got a full black dash sitting there, going to pull the tan one out and swap the crash panel over and bolt the black one in when I get around to it.

The one I have is plastic, not leather, but if that's going to do the job then yeah, it'll only cost a postage bag I think, I'll try to remember to take it to work tomorrow and see if it'll fit in the small bag, otherwise it'll be like, $8.90 or whatever it is for the slightly bigger one.

is it still brown though? as long as it's a brown one i'm happy with that. plastic surely has to be tougher than the leather one! Flick me your bank details and a price via PM and i'll send you whatever it costs!

Ok guys, in the interest of keeping threads clean and on topic i have started a new thread to take the general chat out of this one and hopefully make it better and less cluttered

http://www.mx5forum.co.nz/viewtopic.php?p=47897#47897

so lets continue the conversation over there

cheers

Maybe one of them will buy mine, its been for sale long enough! Wonder what I'm doing wrong with the ad?

I was just thinking that... just as surprised it hasn't sold.

Perhaps you need to overlay a pic of a hot babe in a bikini on your bonnet? :D
Heads up - I'm sick of trademe timewasters and lowball offers (you wouldn't believe how many people want to swap Hondas for it!) so am dropping the price on here first to try for a quicker sale to someone who will appreciate it.
