Mx5 waving the flag and sticking it to some of the big boys...
24th of 110 and a fastest time beyond my expectations. Awesome fun weekend, pleased to meet some new (and old) faces and friends.
Huge thanks to Paul (2low2c) and Jared (Team Jelly) Wee1 would not be the car it is without either of them!

2 other MX5 owners along with myself were up by the tight right-hander half way up the hill on Saturday and we were all cheering you on mate.
Great effort and an awesome weekend.
Cheers Stevo

Awesome!
I saw your time in the results and was pretty happy to see all the kinds of cars you were beating. I wanted to come along this year but stupid study got in the way, will def be there next year.
What tyre did you run?

Thanks guys, I must say I hope to get some mileage out of being quicker than Greg Murphy and a Group B Audi Quattro for a bit
Because it'll NEVER Happen again! (although lite weight Wee1 Project 2 might take us a step closer ...

)
Tyres are Nitto NT01 225's. A GREAT Tyre. Actually scratch that, they are terrible, no one who races (against me at least) should use them....terrible tyre!!!

Nice
Was wondering about the tyres as there's a few new options in the US (Rival-s & RE71R) that would be well suited hillclimb type events on tarmac we have here and are apparently faster than the NT01.
I've got a set of the rival-s's that i'm waiting to try out at an autocross/hill climb but have to get the car back on the road first...

I am watching developments there too....the new Toyo 888r also looks like it might be good.
