Damn, NC is a nice tidy car when standard, looks great with a few mods. The ND looks great out of the box imo.

wow! this should be a great drive, given the lower weight, skyactiv (high compression) engine and front-mid balance. Looks amazing too.

actually looks quite good at some angles, you guys should really look at the pictures from the link SLYDIT posted.
Interesting that Mazda went back to the what appears to be 4x100 PCD.
Also for the car that was presented outside, looks like the placed something inside the wheel so we can't see the inside properly.
The rear of the car from the officials pictures does make the car a little odd in my opinion.

It really sounds like they still have a fair bit of work still to do. The only thing that was, i suppose, implied about the engine was the skyactive badge. Also from reading the flyin miata facebook page, they talked to the head(i think) engineer who said things like the suspension rates and OEM tyres haven't been decided.
BUT who cares. New mx5!! woooooo!! and maybe new rx7/9/a rotary sports car and also rumors of a Mazdaspeed 3 with 300+hp and four wheels drive.
FUCK YEAH MAZDA!!!
Also, looks like whole engine behind front wheels

Shit I'm actually keen on buying one of these new. Better start saving I guess. Pay rise due in a month or two as well

1.5 or 2.0 skyactiv engines ... the 1.5 in the Mazda2 is pretty decent actually! Should lend itself well to those with "italian tuneup" driving styles

Roumour says the 1.5 may be turbo...the cars at the reveal had 7500+rpm red lines so that suggests smaller engines. (or a screamer 2.0)

Yeah I guess the only deciding factor at this stage is the engine choice, but at that weight they can't really disappoint, I hope. Would love to see what a hardtop version looks like.
