Yeah,
And. In a few weeks our shop should be close, if not 100% finished.

Hi guys, 12th April sounds good to me, and the 'Boss' will let me have time off for good behaviour! (Guess I'd better start showing some  )

I have an engine lifter in my spare bedroom at the moment. I borrowed it to lift on an outboard. I can keep it to use at a later date if needed.

Im keen to do my rocker cover gasket. Im pretty sure Im ok to do all the tasks. I really only need some shelter to do it under. I have my own tools that I anticipate to need.... Also have some spare beers in the fridge which I can bring along for afterwards.

Could probably use a different set of eyes to confirm my timing.

Can bring some tools and other tid bits; torque wrenches etc. Got some RTV for the guys who are planning to do the rocker gasket.

I have a jack and 4 stands if needed. And an impact wrench in case we need more than BRMs workshop has.

Still can't fully confirm I can make it though (but it's looking likely).

Hey team,
Extremely sorry to say that my shop is a no go This Time,.
Old man wants no days off in there so we can finish it.
It's pretty much 90% done.
Just a wall and floor to paint and machines/benches to finalize positions.
If we get a good run, it Might be done by the 12th,
But for right now It's a negative.

Sorry guys.

Definitely next time when it'll be 100% done and looking awesome

Message received..... BRM. Do you need any electrical jobs done in the workshop. Im an industrial electrician by trade so happy to help you out seeing as you are happy to let others utilise your space. What goes around comes around as they say.

It'll definitely happen at my place!

Gruvbb - all electrical stuff is done downstairs,
Just literally needs one wall and 2nd part of floor painted.
Finished the last big fab bench yesterday.

But yeah,
Can't wait for spanner day

If anyone needs their ac gas charge topped up at spanner day I can bring some gas along. I dont really feel like doing anything further than topping up existing charge. I dont want to be replacing ac components on other peoples cars. Im not a contortionist. Gas charge is ok though.

Quite like this initiative, gotta give you guys 10/10 for this idea I hope it gets off the ground, as you know I am there with, er, beers in hand... but as GRUVBB believes, I mean not just for afterward why not 'during'?

12/4 is no good for me but I'll gladly come along given I've got no major schoolwork on. Have a decent 1/2" metric and imperial socket set, 2ton jack + stands; couple spare jacks and an average screwdriver set. Also pliers and a hammer because if you don't end up using a hammer you're in serious trouble.
I'm not a fountain of knowledge but if someone tells me how to do something, I can probably do it.
