IKR - 1500 in that rough condition?

1k = worth it
I got mine a few weeks ago for $1300 which has better paint, heated rear window and insulated roof

Edit, just realised its also in christchurch, shipping would probably bring it to over 2k :lol:

Some really nice looking MX5 seats...

$100 starting bid so might go for a mint if you don't end up in a bidding war with Ross.
Cool sunroof bro...

Someone's got my favourite wheels of all time for sale on trademe!

They're SSR Longchamps, 15x7 & 15x7.5 staggered setup [not perfect for handling, but they'll look boss as heck!]: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =510481212

By the way I'm MadKiwi's nephew, if you see me driving around in a Silverstone NA give me a wave :]!

Would've been keen if I didn't end up getting alternative wheels. Those would look very tidy

I am almost beginning to think that you are against the idea of a V8 in an MX5

Its not that Im against it, dont get me wrong the engineering that goes into them is a good as they are quick.

I just wouldn't do mine that way, Im a bit of a purist with Mazdas and keeping it in the family engine wise. But thats me Im crazy :lol:

Speaking of engine swaps. I think the engine swap I'd choose would be a 13B. I like Furai's thoughts of keeping it Mazda and I love the RX7s so get the best of both worlds :D

My original plan was to do a rotary conversion, I have had a few 1st Gen RX7's, and never really got into the 2nd or 3rd Gen, and that's why I got an MX5, as they reminded me a lot of my RX7's (if only I could have found a fastback, that would have been as close as replacement as you could get).

But then I thought, had a few rotary's, never had a V8, let's try something different.
