how to display images?

how to display images?

i see some of you are able to directly display images on your posts... i cant work out how to do it...
whats the code?

I upload them to imgur.com, then paste in the url of the image with either side of it.

So Image

Picture appears like this.

go to the picture you want to post (must be hosted on a website) right click it
select "copy image URL"
then when you are creating a new reply click the Img button paste your URL then hit the image button again

it should look similar to this

mmm weird... i tried that and it didnt work...
eg i tried to display this pic:

by using the and it didnt display...

It might have something do do with the URL not ending in .jpg so it thinks its a link to a page.

Edit: On the far right of that imageshack link, click 'Embed this image' and copy the URL for the forum option.

Yes but the garage images are not "hosted" as such. You need images that are hosted, so websites like photobucket and that kind of thing, or images displayed on an html web page will have a hosted link.
