Apples an oranges, mate.

Your wheels arent really close to the specs of those ROTAS.

15x8 +0 will fit a lot different to 14x6 +21.....

I was talking about my second set, 6.5 +14.5. Not the same but looks easily as aggressive.

Heres mine on a Roadster
http://www.rs-watanabe.co.jp/userspage/yoshioka.htm

But that price is with an easy $400 worth of tyres, buy a set without then save on shipping and you will have a similar priced wheel.

Sorry but x6.5 +14 is not nearly as aggressive at x8 +0

8 +0 would stick out 3.305cm further than a 6.5 +14.

Thats like throwing a 33mm spacer in there, which is HUGE.

In terms of dish and look to me its similar.

But as I said without tyres you would get alot more wheel.

You actually get less wheel.

1" diameter less
1.5" width less and you get 14mm MORE offset...
for less money of course... but that's why they're cheaper I guess.

and on a 8" +0 wheel you'd get about 3.75" - 4" of dish depending on design

14x6.5 +14 would be more like 2.5" of dish at a maximum. again.... quite a big difference if you are going for that 'dished out drift flat peaker ceffy lil jonny diezel d1r' look.

I guess it depends on what you define as 'more wheel'.

A brand name?

or a new player on the market?

To me if you add tyres to those wheels they are $500 more even with cheapo ones. ($950 all up for my 14.5 offset Wats)

So for $1550 you could get some serious wheels out of Japan. Im not saying you should buy out of Japan your welcome to buy those but if your spending that sort of money you might want to consider your other options.

To me 14-6.5J +14.5 is the best compromise, no rolling of guards, looks great, isnt to heavy(Sub 5Kg), cheap tyres, no need for stretch.

You could certainly go wider but there has to be a reason the Watanabes most popular sizing on their site for Roadsters is 14.5 14-6.5J.

They are less wheel but nearly half the price. Hence why its an option and my opinion.

+14.5 offset on a 6.5" wide wheel is not aggressive. The reason it's popular is probably because it's a suitable width and offset to just fill the guards, almost like they were designed with the Roadster in mind.

Definitely not aggressive, though. Guards filled, but only just so.
