What to put on soft top to preserve it

Post by WestieMx5 » Mon Aug 20, 2012 8:11 pm

Hi,
I was wondering if those anti UV plastic/rubber preserving sprays are any good for extending the life of the soft tops?
Is there some particular stuff to put on them?

Cheers.

Something which restores the natural oils in the top will do better than some kind of coating. I use Autoglym products, and use the Interior Shampoo to clean the roof, then Bumper Care (an oily gel) to restore the oils. The Bumper Care works on all black exterior plastics and even makes painted black metal parts nice and black.

Hey, if it's good enough for Aston Martin, its good enough for me ;)
