MX5 Turbo

Post by Donovan » Sat Jun 02, 2012 8:03 pm

Does anyone know the history of the following car, my Brother is thinking about replacing his 93 NA8C with something with a bit more go, bu doesn't want to do the conversion himself, just wants to buy something that someone has already and he has seen this one below. Anyone know anything about it or know it's history or worth getting?

really its a bargain for whats in it.
mx5's are cheap to repair so why not go for it.
it looks a little rough around the edges but thats probably just the not so good fit of the nosecone.the soft top looks past it too.

the only concern is that with that much power available if you turn up the boost. the 1600 brakes arent really up to the job.

If you helped build it, does that make it a good un?

Is it worth swapping out the purple pumpkin eater for this one at the price he is selling it for.

*Barely helped build it ha

Well considering i almost bought it myself when it first came up for sale i would say yes its a good buy. However it all depends on what has been done to it since.

The old owner put a lot of time and effort into it, the new owner seems to have only improved it so all round it looks pretty good.

Price seems okay, all depends on what you can talk him down to as it has been on TM for a LONG time
