Oil Change + Service

Post by thebears » Thu Jan 26, 2012 1:25 pm

Just had the MX5 serviced, was a cheap voucher thing from one of those voucher site thingies. Worked out cheaper than getting just and oil/filter change.

Excellent service at Takapuna Car Clinic, only extras were for clutch fluid change due to high moisture and contamination and i asked for a genuine MAZDA oil filter which cost me another $12.

Now i can report the oil pressure on cold start os way higher with much more under load as well. Warm idle is about the same.

Only downside is noisy lifter is back, prob due to oil draining once switched off, but it soon goes, (less than a few seconds) once started.

All in good serivce, friendly guys and a great price.
