soft top rear window

Post by Alexk » Mon Oct 10, 2011 1:48 pm

Good afternoon

don't know where to ask
but

Could somebody tell where is it possible to repair the rear zip window on (the soft top) in Auckland?

I don't want to change the whole soft top, but rear window was cut, so want to change the plastic or the whole zipped part.

mazda eunos 1996.

thank you

Im in the same boat - anywhere in chch? I'm using weatherproof clear tape at the moment which is suprisingly stealthy. Lesson learned - dont fold the roof down in a frost without unzipping it.

any boat upholsterer should be able to do it also...they ave loads of that plastic window stuff
You can remove the window bit from the main part of the top. just make sure you mark across the zip with a twink pen so you can line the zip up again when refitting it.

heres a "how to" on how to remove just the window panel from the top...(sorry no pics)
maybe print it out and take it withh you to your upholsterer,
