Found a MX5, what you think its worth?

Car is a 1990, 140k, red with hardtop very faded paint, softtop is in poor conditiion. Has not had wof for 3 years, very rusty discs, tires prob shot, coolant is good but oil is dirty and low, battery dead, factory jdm radio tapedeck.

Ive offered 1k as is where is. I know the hardtop is worth money, but im not looking at parting it out or anything.

Fair price? Thoughts?

yeah but is it still registered
if not it may not be worth putting back on the road
re-vinning can get expensive some times

Yeah the rego is on hold. Certainly is a do-er upper but it's just little things.
