Coromandel cruise - November 19th

Post by punkoutnz » Wed Oct 12, 2011 1:36 pm

Heya guys, I'm organising a cruise with Primera Car Club for a nice big cruise around the Coromandel on Saturday the 19th of November.

Here's the plan:

Beginning at 9.30am at BP Drury, from there we'll head south to Kopu where anyone from the Waikato can meet us, a drive from there to Tairua for some lunch and a chinwag before we head to Coromandel via Whitianga. After a quick bite/gas stop we'll be back on the road for Thames where we'll stop for dinner, more chin wagging, etc before people can head home to either Hamilton or Auckland (via SH2 or Miranda if they like).

Basically it's open invite, so there'll be a lot of "youngins" so it's up to you if that's the kind of crowd you want to tag along with, however there's a strict "no dick head" policy so there shouldn't be any trouble makers.

Thought I'd extend the invite to you guys cos it'll be a great chance to drop the canvas and stretch the legs for the opening of the summer season!

Here's a link to the facebook event which I've also posted:

Please note, I changed the date of the event. This was because Nizfest was the following weekend which meant a lot of people couldn't make the original date. At least the weather can only get better :D.

Ah bugger! That sounds like a really sweet cruise though, I need to officially join the MX5 club yet and start taking part in those events.

There is an xmas run to Karapiro on the 4th Dec too! ...You don't have to join before a run as you are welcome to come along in general & then join anytime soon if its to your liking?.....for $45.00 annual membership its good value as there is a run just about every month plus weekends away & training & track days at Taupo once a year! :D
