Good stuff, looks like fun. What sort of times is it good for around there?

Looking forward to getting the black beast out on track, bit of a poor effort that I haven't yet. Rollbar in the garage waiting for me to find the time to bolt it in first.

Heres a playing-on-the-road sequence though, better than nothing! :p

Looking lean and mean, little bit dirty too!

Have you managed to get the traction issues sorted with the Achillies 123's??

Still miss the missle a bit!

Yep those things are pretty sticky, especially with a bit of heat in them! Almost too much grip for having fun on public roads, I might swap back to normal tyres for road use and keep those for the track. Good value though at $140/tyre.

It was clean and shiny when I left home that trip actually, but weather and roads conspired against me! There are more photos in the garage section too.

Sounds decent enough to me! Had a few passenger laps round there in a Honda-powered Lotus Elise which was running in the 1:08s, seriously rapid car - 230hp/800kg on semi-slicks has that effect though.

Hmmm I know the sound of that formula Ben....

The black beast's old room mate

Not Honda powered, but soon to be worked and Supercharged!

Will be a fun project!

:D Yes Please! (I know of a supercharged Honda K20A Elise coming up for sale soon, more than a bit out of my price range though)
