20 years of the MX5

Just wondering if anything has been heard from Mazda or anyone else for that matter about the proposed tour and events to commemorate 20 years of the MX5?
All I have seen is the proposal and dates in the last issue of Top Down.
Anyone know what might be happening?

I talked to Paul Bryant last week. It seems that Mazda won't be doing their country long tour March/April after all. It looks as though they want to be involved in the Club National Event at Labour Weekend in Nelson

OK on that. Was wondering what was happening as our local organisers hadn't
heard anything either. Will look forward to meeting many of you at the
Nelson event at Labour weekend.

I had suggested to Willie that each region organises something.
I have yet to speak to my mate at TV3 to see if any coverage is possible.
