What a great day it was on the new track 2 (fabulous for a small car) and we even managed to get 11 "5's" on the track at once. 
Its a great day out with the aim to get track time and learn some driving skills. Overtaking is only allowed on the straights and under acceleration ie no passing underbraking or in the corners but by round 2 those interpretations were somewhat liberal - I mean how else can a "5" pass a HSV V8 or MR2 turbo? 
Mainly NA's but there were Targa cars and track cars, everyday cars and concourse cars and almost literally last week's wreck; rollbars, jap bars, and style bars; hard tops, no tops; light weights and heavy weights; stock 16oo's, not so stock 1600's, V8 and rotary, young jockers and not so young jockers but not many female jockers, plenty of oversteer and understeer, controlled power sliding and not so controlled; plenty of talk of future mods, turbos, brakes, LSD.
But most importantly everyone had a thoroughly good time and met people who may have just been email or forum name. Roll on the next one.
