I can't remember who recommended "Rainex" on the List, whoever it was,
thanks a bunch, this stuff is magic!

Not only did it enhance the already fine water shedding quality of the MX5
windscreen, but I have had a noisy wiper on the Diamante for months, nothing
fixed it, not new blades, nothing. One application of Rainex and perfect
peace!

Great Stuff!

When I turned on my air conditioning it to made a loud screeching,
quickly turned it off, Would anyone know what would cause that?
and what do people spray their tops (car tops) with to help keep the
rain out on a top up week?
Thank you.

Probably the belt that drives the aircon compressor slipping is the cause of
the screeching. I assume the noise is from under the bonnet and not inside
the car. The belt is separate from the alternator one.
Can't help with waterproofing the top though. Where is it leaking and what
material is the top made of? The only water I have had in my car was a small
drip where the side seals are split to allow the top to fold. Re-adjusting
them so they seal properly stopped that. With less than 10mm of rain here in
the last month, it's not much of a problem!

Thank you for your reply, to my knowledge it doesn't rain in Blenheim, I am in
Taupo and we have had so much rain my top has just become a bit water logged,
there is a wee split on the side that needs mending but just wondering what is
best to spray on the rest. I think it is just vinyl.
The noise is coming from under the bonnet, is it expensive to fix?
Keep Smiling
Michele
