I finally had a closer look at my headlights today to see if I could find
why my left light has a slight wobble when up. The right one has no wobble
at all.
The wobble appears to be caused by a small amount of play in the output
shaft of the actuating motor. If you raise the lights and hold on to the arm
that connects to the light then wobble it, you can see the output shaft of
the motor moving. There is no movement at all in my right hand unit.
Has anybody had one of these out and looked into eliminating the play? Mine
is not too bad so am inclined to leave well alone at present, especially if
a replacement is called for. Those Konis take precedence at present!
