Please stop posting until the list server is fixed

Hi all

Lots of us would be very grateful if everyone on this list would stop posting for
a while.

I hate to contribute to the problem by posting and I hate to stifle discussions.
But if we all stop posting for a day or two, the sysadmins will be able to mend
the list server without many of us receiving hundreds of repeated emails per
day until they do.

Anyone getting only a couple of each message is probably being protected by
their mail server, trust the rest of us who are being deluged.
