Auckland Auto-Trimmers do a great after market Universal Reversing sensor.

Off the top of my head I think its about $300.00 and work on the honing-beep
system.

Otherwise Mazda have one available for 2nd Gen NC~ND MX-5's

there's an outfit called www.parkingaid.co.nz which has a range of budget sensors too. I haven't trried them though.

I have bought a four sensor unit from these people. Cost $100.00 plus freight.
I've tested it on the work bench and it appears to work very well as claimed.
Even comes with a small hole saw to drill the mounting holes. Starts beeping
at 1.5 metres and speeds up to a continuous tone at 300mm. Has digital
distance display as well.
Next job is to install it as soon as I get the time.
