Have to agree with the ping pong ball one, provided you don't have children.
If you do, they tend to play with them, pull them down or, worst of all, tie
them at different heights - never a good move. An MX5 will also avoid the
problem I regularly used to get with our wagons, which was that the ball sits
on top of the hatch when it's open and then falls into the gap and gets
scrunched when you close it. New balls, please!
