Can someone help me with the installation of these please ?
I have the dial cover off and unsure whether to put them in from the rear or
whether the clear cover comes off the black backing,I'm nervous to force it as
we know what happens then.It would certainly be easier from the front.
When I place them from the rear they also seem loose, have people used an
adhesive or a small bit of silicone sealer to hold in place ?
Any help appreciated.

Dial Rings
Hi Grant, I have put them in about 4 cars - assuming you mean the 3 small
rings as the Speedo and rev counter should have them in place already. When I
have done it I have put a couple of very small drops of instant glue on the
recesses and put the rings in through the speedo/rev counter holes from the
back and carefully put the in place and left them for a while to make sure the
glue has sent - be careful not to superglue your finger in place !!!
Good luck Nige

Dial Rings
I believe the speedo/tach rings were dropped in '96 ?
I just read the other day at www.miataforum.com that if you have to do the
big ones, the best option is to squash them a little, pass them through the
same hole, and manipulate them into place the same way. ie. removing the
clear cover is never the right way!
But, as I said... I've only read this, never done it myself.
Good luck,
Fletch.
