Parts from USA

Post by Grant » Thu Apr 24, 2003 9:49 am

Somebody on this list recently gave some information on a company that will
ship parts from the 'States so you can buy from someone there who won't
export. I've searched the list unsuccessfully for the message. Could you let
us know again please?

Thanks,

Grant.

I think the company was mentioned in one of the last pages of the latest "Topdown" club mag as well.

Try http://www.toship.com/ - New Zealand is included in their list of
standard destinations.

You're correct. Just had a look in Top Down and there it is. No wonder I was
having trouble searching these messages!
The site mentioned there is: www.myus.com

Thanks again,

Grant.

DO NOT use toship.com - they are a 1-man band. If you do a search on the
Ebay community forum (under international buyers), you will see there have
been a lot of problems with them. I'm still waiting for a parcel after 6
months. They return e-mails sporadically.

www.myus.com are a professional outfit - you receive notification for every
parcel received, you can edit/update preferences on a personalised web page,
etc. They typically respond to an e-mail within 24 hours.
