MX5 Head light not flicking up

Hi

I am an H reg MX5 owner and have a problem with the left head light, it does
not flick up or down, the light shines, but the head light is stuck. It is
not jammed, and works when Turned manually, could a fuse have gone or I have
a loose connection?. Is this a usual fault?

Any advice or recommendations would be well Loved and received.

Chris,

My wife's car had a similar problem and the cause was a small connecting rod that had come off at one end. The result was that the motor wasn't pushing the light up.
Just have a look behind the headlight and see if there is a loose rod (about 10cm long). If it is loose, you just need to clip it back in.
