AVO TURBO
The kits are good, the aussies love them, but itGrant:
relies on a piggy back computor for fuelling and a
fifth injector from memory.(not too flash) How much of
the work are you prepared to do yourself?? Heres a
quick run down of costs for a really good diy turbo.
Manifold $700, recon turbo $800, New intercooler
$900, link computor and 550cc injectors tuned
$2500,Pipework and exhaust $700, Clutch $1000, Bits
and bobs $500.
TOTAL $7100.
Of course this is a rough guide but gives you an idea
of cost breakdown. My diy kit is much simpler and
hopefully will cost less than $2500 not including
clutch, but im doing most of the fab work myself.
Try and get hold of some Aussie Mx5 club guys who have
the avo kit as there are several options available.
