Could all of you out there with koni adjustables,
tell me at what ride height youre running, I may go
for the middle perch as i have wide 16" wheels and
dont want to rub the gaurds.
Any experiences???

koni shock ride height in NZ
Hi Glenn
I'm running 16" and recently bought some Koni's (not fitted yet, keep putting
it off). I measured them against my existing shocks (ie; bottom to basket
height) and the existing ones end up between the grooves on the Koni's, if you
get what I mean. So I borrowed some time on a big lathe and cut an extra
groove in each shock using a parting tool )with a lot of care). Not so hard,
about an hour all up, setting up was the hardest part. I did this as my car
height is OK, lower may be better but I was worried about rubbing on the
guards too.
By the way, I (think) I heard you're a mechanic? Did you read my failed WOF
thing because of my Cold Air Induction? Can I go to another Garage and
override the first guys opinion??

I have Bridgestone Grid III on 205/45 16" 40mm offset (rims 45mm with
~5mm spacers). Rubbing is not a problem on any perch setting I've tried
(middle and top, front & rear)
I use lowered springs & now have both ends sitting the highest perch -
my front could still do with being raised 5mm or more (I get reminded at
every warrant...)
cheers
