Ah no, green is reserved for my MX - not common or garden BRG but the
special edition sparkle green. I gather there is one other like it in NZ -
if anyone knows of it, please let me know.

Have seen one in a dealer in Greenlane a while ago too - (can't
guarantee it wasn't yours though...)

And with my list admin hat on (not specifically directed at Simon, but
just a general suggestion), we do try and keep the list on topic, but if
you do happen to post something unrelated to MX5s, there is a suggested
method of doing so:

If you use (OT) meaning off-topic as part of your subject line, or maybe
a better suggestion used on the US Miata list, they use (NMC) or (LMC)
in their subject lines to signify "No Miata Content" and "Little Miata
Content" respectively, people can either delete the emails, or use mail
filters to place the off topic stuff in a different folder.

Remember, some people get a lot of email, and a useful & sensible
subject line is often the key to weather they read, or delete.

Also, I have updated the list tips page with this and a few more
suggestions, and I suggest everyone have a read sometime please:

Thanks, zorruno, excellent suggestion - will file and use in the event of my
needing to sell another lawnmower.

No, the Green Lane one wasn't mine so maybe there's a little elite group of
us. That would seem apropriate - the Elite was the fore-runner of the Elan
which was the inspiration of the MX5, wasn't it?

Not being the group admin and not wanting to specificly refer to you but what
has the weather to do with the reading or deleting of messages .

The Weather has a lot to do with it, if the weather is nice zorruno will be
outside asleep in the sun and will just junk his emails, if the weather is not
nice he will be inside reading them...

Thanks Colin, funny you should 'specificly' mention that, because I
attended a meeting in Wellington last weekend with volunteer MX5 group
coordinators from all around New Zealand (a first for the NZ club), and
top on our Agenda was not organising events, sponsor discounts, a NZ
wide magazine & membership benefits for all NZ MX5 enthusiasts... but
ensuring all our members used correct grammar and spelling when sending
email.
