Plastic Pocket/Radio/Speakers/Tires

Thanks but no need.

I just bought a replacement CD/MP3 radio. Thanks to Nigel I went to
Parallel Imports and got myself a Sony unit for $249 that normally sells
for $399 retail. I found a plastic pocket through JA Ford/Mazda that can
be cut-down to size so it will fit perfectly under the radio.

I also just realised my Alpine door speakers have been screwed directly
into the medal of the door. So I've bought some speaker mat insulation
which I will place between the speaker and the metal of the door. It
will should eliminate door and door lining vibration (and perhaps
improve sound?)

Thanks to Carl's recommendations on the $30/pair Clarion headrest
speakers and Nigel's Parallel Import idea my MX5 will emit GREAT sounds
this Xmas.

I also bought the new Yokohama C-Drives and with the Konis now also
installed the car "turns on a dime".

Thanks for everyone's assistance - this list and the people on it are
GREAT!.

bill im fitting 195x15x50 c drives tomorrow so have had good reports on
heavier cars will be interesting,mike
