On the subject of racing... on sky last week there was a program called Rides3
and this episode was about the Americans trying (and of course
failing...happy) to beat the Japanese drivers and cars in a US based Drift
Racing event. For those of you that don't know what drift racing is (if you
don't you will not have much choice as it's the X-Games of car racing and is
rocketing in popularity around the world) so check out

my note is that in the background of a couple of shots there was a drift racer
MX5. I've also seen this in a couple of other drift racing programs. Having
been to Japan and seen many awesome drift videos I would never buy a Jap
import that has been done up or fitted with a body kit. There is no place in
the world who's sports cars get thrashed more, than by the young Japanese,
good on em too!
