difficulty "dishing it out", but have a lot of difficulty "getting it

No, its not you Richard... definitely not you... or the 95% of the
forum... or not even those that have left. The man seems to have some
really good things to say and some really valuable input, but rises
to any reflective comment with some vitriol. I've found its hard to
be amused after it escalates into threats of dust ups and legal stuff...

Sorry, this group is "inert" when it even comes to a petrol company reducing
the Fly-buy points they can earn! I had more "well done" responses from people
overseas than from this list..

So why don't we all "not respond" to the PITA and maybe he'll go away

I'm setting up a "B... R... Survivors encounter group" and
wondered if you would like to join. We will meet at any
arrogant Fuel Service Centre and share our experiences.
Perhaps we might be able to form some sort of politcal wing
or pressure group and we could all write to Parliament with
a petition to remove ...
No, maybe I'm setting myself up here. What used to be
amusing is rapidly becoming a platform for an individual to
abuse everyone.

Please end this silly vitriol, Bill. You've made your point,
so stop getting so personal and don't threaten me with
lawyers as I do not actually exist so you cannot harm me. I
am merely your long suppressed conscience pleading with you
to consider being pleasant to your fellows who might, just
might have something worthwhile to say as well as you.

Hello Joan and others

I wish to put myself forward as the president of this support /
encounter group.

I too had enough of Bill, but unfortunately I got caught up in it and
brought the list into it, I (like others) failed to realise that you can
not argue and win with people like Bill. Reason does not work with
these types of people.

I feel strongly that the committee needs to become involved. I sold my
MX5 last night and advised the new owners (strongly) to join the club,
but equally as strongly, to avoid the list.

We will be looking around for a newer MX5 as soon as we move, so will
still be continuing with the club.

Bill's comments cause angry reactions. One accepts there are many diffeent
personality types. However, one advantage of EM is that electronic
destruction is simple to achieve.
I recommend setting up a message rule that sends all EMs from BR to trash
will do wonders for one's mental health and encourage the survival of the
list. Finally, don't blame BR, he obviously can't help himself - take
control of your life.

Classic example of a pathetic list member: not afraid to offer his
opinions, but is afraid to acknowledge who he is. Quite a few people on
the list like that lately . and you wonder why members of other NZ car
clubs refer to this one as a bunch of Hairdressers??? I don't even take
that position, but I do speak the truth . something a lot of people on
the list can't handle.

Sorry, more important things to do . Survivor over, now CSI is on .

elected to a 4th term ... you Ken as the club's President. As my
personal emails to you have I'm sure communicated, you have about as
much leadership qualities as David Benson-Pope!

I have just read your response after working from "top down", no pun
intended, in my morning 'inbox' email list. Thus a response to a later
email to the list by you has already been sent.

Perhaps I might have taken your "pleading" on board, if you had the
"courage" to identify yourself ...

BTW, I'm known to have a "razor sharp" SOH, with those that I interact
with on that level.

I do not understand how just asking someone to settle down a little
and measure their response to decent folk on this list (as I have
never disagreed with Bill over MX5 stuff) suddenly gets to be a
challenge to Bill's masculinity... why do you decide I'm suddenly a
"gelding"? Your responses lie in another time. But in the meantime
stick to MX5 stuff Bill and cut the name calling rubbish.

Very well Bill... by sheer force of pathetic masculine prowess and
inability to spot ANY tongue in cheek comments, you win.
I shall not respond to any more of your personal rubbish. I believe
you have worked out that by abusing people at a personal level,
threatening them and in general throwing your weight around like a
bully, you manage to get people to stop writing as they have the
maturity to eventually stop when you escalate things. But
entertaining as it has been at times, it gets tiresome when it
becomes personal. Please refrain from doing too much of this as it
does upset many. I will not reply to any more of your letters so this
string will now cease.
