"MX5s in Hot Demand - except the Green Ones"
"A recent survey has found that Mazda MX5s are the most popular sportscar avaialble in NZ, due to the incredible fuel economies available to those who drive them with the top down. The survey found that adding a turbo or supercharger further increased the savings. Local car dealers have reported a surge in buying interest, with blue and red models selling like hot cakes. Such is the demand that some unscrupulous dealers have stooped to repainting BRG models black to meet the demand"

Do the the fluffy dice help increase speed as well, or are they a roadholding
device Pete?

Ah, but other people talk about it. I was in a minibus going to a boys' night
out a couple of weeks ago when we spotted an MX5 in the distance. On spotting
the plate I said "oh, that's Pete from the MX5 list. must say hello when we
get alongside.' When we did get alongside, however, the laughter from the
others on spotting the fluffy dice made me decide not to invite further
ridicule upon the heads of MX5 owners everywhere...
Nice stripes, though
